Children of Hope - Drama Team
At Children of Hope dramas are used to bring the Word alive and illustrate messages from scriptures. Drama is an avenue for kids to learn and express the Word through dramatic interpretation. The Drama Team is also used as an outreach to introduce Children of Hope to the community. Children of Hope’s Drama Team has visited many local churches, as well as, ventured out of town and to out of state churches. The Drama Team is comprised of kids of various ages who have a heart for God and want to send a message to others about the hope that is within them. They love to reach out with Godly guidance to other youth on real life topics they face today. We have made up skits and done dramatic interpretations to songs that have touched the hearts and lives of many people including our own. Some songs include: “I Can Only Imagine,” “Thank you,” “The Thief,” “Smellin’ Coffee,” “You Raise Me Up,” and “The Healer” just to name a few of our favorite and most memorable ones. Our most popular skit was called: “Ugly Louise.”
